In a well functioning company, the combined assets should be worth more than their individual sum, otherwise there would be more value in selling them separately.
Therefore, asset-based methods should be used mostly in case of distressed situations or bankruptcy. 

As Equidam is tailored for the valuation of early stage, fast growing companies which are fundraising, we didn't integrate asset methods in our methodology. 

The value of the assets should be reflected in the cash flows that are going to be generated from them (that is, in the financial projections).
