The Expert plan is the paid plan where an Equidam expert reviews the inputs and assumptions behind your valuation, writes up what they found, and walks you through it on a 1:1 call. Use it when your company has a special case, such as an unusual cap table (the table of who owns which shares), a regulated industry or a non-standard revenue model. The Expert plan is sold to accounts that started on the free plan, or that signed up from the paid cards of the free-plan pricing table.
What does the Expert plan include?
The Expert plan includes all of the Advanced plan, plus four things:
An expert reviews your inputs and assumptions.
A written report summarising the findings and suggested adjustments.
A 1:1 call to walk through that report.
Guidance on special cases, such as unusual cap tables, regulated industries or non-standard revenue.
The software access is the same on both plans. Expert and Advanced unlock the same benchmarked features, including editing in Advanced Settings.
How is it different from the Advanced plan?
The Advanced plan is self-serve: you get the full valuation, the valuation report and benchmarks, with no human review. The Expert plan adds the expert review, the written findings and the call. Both plans are paid per valuation plus access days, and the Expert plan has a higher per-valuation fee. The per-day access fee is the same on both.
The plan you buy also decides whether the post-valuation call is included. Expert customers schedule it at no extra cost. Advanced customers pay for it separately as a 30-minute add-on.
How do I buy the Expert plan?
The Expert plan is available only to eligible accounts: those that started on the free plan, or that signed up from the paid cards of the free-plan pricing table. If your account is eligible, you can buy it in two places:
In the app: open the upgrade window from any locked screen or the Reports page. Pick the Expert card, choose your access days and click Get my expert review.
At sign-up: click the Expert card on the free-plan pricing table. The billing step of registration then shows EXPERT VALUATION as your selected plan.
The price depends on your country and is shown before you pay. Prices exclude VAT where applicable. If your account signed up another way and you want an expert review, ask in the chat before you buy.
What happens after I pay?
The Equidam team is notified of your purchase. To book your call, open your dashboard: the Post-Valuation Calls module shows a Schedule a call button. It opens a chat with our team with a request for a call already written.
There is no review status inside the app. Your valuation, reports and other features work as normal.
Does the Expert plan change my referral reward?
Yes. When a founder you referred buys the Expert plan, you earn 180 free access days, credited to your company. A purchase of the Advanced plan earns you 60.
Limits
Only eligible accounts can buy the Expert plan, as described above.
No turnaround time is set in the product for the review.
Any paid purchase, including Expert, locks the company name. After that, a rename goes through support.
The review gives you findings and suggested adjustments. The valuation reflects the data you entered.
