Every Equidam account has a personal referral link. When a founder you invite creates a new account through that link and pays for a plan, you earn free access days. The reward depends on what they buy: 60 days for the Advanced plan and 180 days for the Expert plan. Days are added only after their payment is confirmed, never at signup.
How many free access days do I earn?
You earn 180 access days when your referral buys the Expert plan. The Advanced plan, or any other paid purchase, earns 60 access days. Only their first paid purchase counts, so each referral earns you days once. A post-valuation call bought on its own does not earn days.
Where do I find my referral link?
The referral options appear in four places:
The Invite & Earn Free Days card on your dashboard, with Copy your link and Invite by email.
The Organisation page, in the card titled Invite others, earn free access days. Click Invite a founder.
The billing step where you choose access days, below the date field.
The Reports page, after a valuation report finishes generating. Click Share your invite link to copy your link.
When your access ends within 14 days, a banner also appears at the top of the dashboard with Add Days and Invite & Earn. If you close it, it returns after 3 days in the same browser.
How do I invite someone by email?
Click Invite by email, enter an address, and click + Add another email for more, up to 5 addresses per send. You can write a note in Personal message (optional), up to 1,000 characters. If you leave it empty, Equidam sends a short default message. Click Send Invite. The email comes from Equidam, shows your name in the heading, and contains your referral link.
You can also click Copy your link and paste the link anywhere, such as a chat or a newsletter.
What does the person I invite need to do?
They open your link, create a new Equidam account and pay for a plan for the company they set up at signup. The sign-up page shows "You've been invited by" with your first name.
Two conditions apply. They must open the link while logged out of Equidam, in the same browser they then sign up from. An existing Equidam account cannot be linked to you after the fact.
The person you invite gets no discount or extra days from this program.
Where do the earned days go?
Earned days extend the access of one of your companies. For email invites, that is the company you had open when you sent the invite. For people who sign up through a copied link, Equidam assigns the days to one of your companies and you cannot choose which.
Days are added to the end of that company's current access. If the company has no active access, they start from the day they are credited. Once you have earned days, the dashboard card shows your total so far.
Limits
You do not need a paid plan to share your link or send invites.
No limit on how many people you invite or how many days you earn.
Up to 5 email addresses per send, and a personal message of up to 1,000 characters.
You cannot invite your own email address. The form shows "You cannot invite yourself."
An email invite stays open for 90 days. While it is open, or once that person has signed up, you cannot invite the same address again. The form shows "You've already invited this person."
Days are credited only after the referred person's payment is confirmed. Signing up on the free plan earns nothing.
Only a purchase for the company your referral created at signup counts. A purchase for a company they add later does not.
Days are credited only up to the end date of the company's current access. For example, with 10 days of access left and 60 days earned, 10 days are credited once the payment is processed. Contact support about any remainder.
Common questions
Does the person I invite get a discount?
No. The referral reward goes only to you, as free access days.
My contact already has an Equidam account. Can I still refer them?
No. A referral is recorded only when a new account is created through your link.
I shared my link but did not get any days. Why?
Days arrive only after your referral pays for a plan for the company they created at signup. If they signed up while logged in, in a different browser, or without your link, the signup is not linked to you.
Can I choose which company receives the days?
Only for email invites. They use the company you had open when you sent them, so open the right company before you click Send Invite. For people who sign up through a copied link, Equidam assigns the days to one of your companies and you cannot choose which.
