The valuation report is what you hand to an investor, a buyer, or a board member when you need to defend your number, not just show it. It expands your on-screen valuation into a document that explains the reasoning behind it, step by step.
Methods and assumptions
The report walks through the valuation methods behind your number and the weight each one carries at your company's stage. It documents the assumptions feeding the calculation too: method weights, the qualitative scoring criteria, and the discounted cash flow assumptions and multiples used, so a reader can see how the range was built rather than take the total on faith.
Comparables and funding round context
On Advanced and above, the report includes benchmark pages that place your company against similar startups: valuation ranges, revenue and EBITDA comparisons, and recent similar funding rounds sourced from Equidam's own data and Crunchbase. It also covers your own funding round, the equity offered and capital raised, compared with what similar companies have done. See Valuation Delta Analysis: Benchmarking your valuation for a full breakdown of these pages.
Verification
Every generated report carries a verification QR code. Scanning it confirms the report came from Equidam and hasn't been altered since, which matters once the document is circulating between founders, investors, and advisors who weren't in the room when it was produced.
Who it's for
The report is built to hold up under scrutiny from whoever actually reads it: investors during a raise, a buyer during due diligence, or a board reviewing a strategic decision. Report downloads are part of the paid plans, see our article on upgrading to Advanced for what's included. If you're preparing to generate one, check What information do I need to complete a valuation report? first.
